Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 08 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://definedigital.in ("the Website") and any enquiry, enrolment, or course you undertake with Define Digital Institute ("DDI", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully; if you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website or enrol in a course.

Looking for how refunds work? Jump straight to our Refund & Cancellation Policy (Section 4).

1. About Us

Define Digital Institute is a practical, hands-on digital marketing training institute based at Sanghvi Square, MG Road, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400086, India. The technical development, hosting, and day-to-day management of this Website is carried out by Define Solutions Pvt. Ltd., our technology partner, on behalf of Define Digital Institute. References to "we"/"us"/"our" in these Terms refer to Define Digital Institute unless the context clearly relates to the Website's technical operation, in which case it refers to Define Solutions Pvt. Ltd. acting on our behalf.

2. Use of the Website

  • You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Website by any third party.
  • You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, its servers, or any database/system connected to it.
  • Any information you submit through an enquiry, contact, or admission form must be accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
  • We may suspend or restrict access to the Website, without notice, for maintenance, security, or any other reason we consider necessary.

3. Course Enquiries & Enrolment

  • Submitting an enquiry form on the Website does not itself constitute enrolment — enrolment is confirmed only after you complete the admission process and applicable payment, as communicated to you by our counselling team.
  • Course fees, batch schedules, syllabus, and duration shown on the Website are indicative and may be updated periodically; the fee and terms confirmed to you in writing at the time of admission will apply to your enrolment.
  • Course content, trainers, and schedules may be modified, or a batch may be rescheduled/merged, where reasonably necessary — we will make reasonable efforts to inform enrolled students in advance of any such change.
  • Fee payment, refund, and rescheduling requests are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy (Section 4 below) and the specific payment terms printed on your invoice at the time of admission.
  • Certificates of completion are issued to students who meet the attendance and course-completion criteria communicated at the start of the course.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every student to enrol with confidence, so here is exactly how refunds and cancellations work — in plain language, with clear timelines.

4.1 Failed, Duplicate, or Erroneous Payments

If money was debited from your account, card, or UPI but your payment failed to reflect on our system, or you were accidentally charged more than once for the same enrolment, you are entitled to a full refund of the erroneous amount — no exceptions. Email us at info@definedigital.in with your transaction ID/UTR and a payment screenshot; once verified, we process the refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

4.2 Cancellation Before Your Batch Starts (Cooling-Off Window)

Changed your mind right after paying? Email us within 48 hours of your payment and before your batch has commenced or you have been granted any access to the LMS, study material, recordings, or a live class, and we will refund the amount paid minus the Registration Fee (which covers admission processing and holding your seat in the batch). This refund is processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.

4.3 After Your Batch Has Started

Once your batch has commenced, or you have been granted access to the LMS, study material, live classes, or recordings, the Registration Fee and Course Fee become non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable — this is stated clearly on your invoice, which you formally acknowledge under Section 3 above. This applies regardless of attendance, schedule conflicts, or dissatisfaction with a specific session. That said, we do want to make it right where we can — for genuine concerns about a trainer, session, or batch, contact us via Section 11 below and we will do our best to resolve it through a trainer change, extra doubt-support, or transfer to another running batch, even where a monetary refund does not apply.

4.4 If We Cancel or Are Unable to Deliver Your Batch

If Define Digital Institute cancels a batch/course before it starts, or is unable to deliver the program you enrolled for with no reasonable equivalent available, you will receive, at your choice, either a full refund of the amount paid or a free transfer to another available batch or course of equivalent value.

4.5 How to Request a Refund

Email info@definedigital.in (or call +91 93215 57008) from your registered email/phone number with your name, invoice/registration number, and the reason for your request. We acknowledge every refund request within 2 business days and resolve approved requests within 7–10 business days. As required under RBI/NPCI guidelines for digital payments, approved refunds are credited only to the original payment method used — we are unable to refund to a different bank account, card, or UPI ID.

4.6 Before Raising a Chargeback

If something feels wrong with a payment, please write to us first — most issues are resolved faster this way than through a bank dispute, and it helps us help you quickly. Our payment records and this policy are shared with your bank/payment provider in the event of a chargeback dispute.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, course material, images, and the overall design — is the property of Define Digital Institute or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws, unless stated otherwise. You may view and print pages from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit any content from the Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Links & Embedded Content

The Website may contain links to third-party websites (for example, our social media pages or embedded videos) for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party website. Visiting a linked website is at your own risk and subject to that website's own terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Define Digital Institute and Define Solutions Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Website. This does not limit or exclude any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Indian law.

8. Placement Assistance

Where a course includes placement assistance, this means we will make reasonable efforts to connect eligible students with relevant internship/job opportunities through our network. Placement assistance does not constitute a guarantee of a job offer or a specific salary, as final hiring decisions rest solely with the hiring companies.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our courses, policies, or applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
